Sarah actually stands still long enough while contemplating the ocean for me to take multiple shots of her for HDR combining. There’s a bit of haloing on her, but I’ll take it because I like everything else.

Here’s one of the landscape photographs that I was talking about. I was shooting at 28mm on this. The clouds are of course way more interesting than in real life, thanks to the HDR magic.

I never can quite get HDR right, but I thought this one turned out okay. Tide pools, with all the texture and detail and strangeness seemed like a good target for HDR (high dynamic range) photography. I think ultimately landscapes and indoor shots are still the best targets, but these turned out in an interesting fashion.
