I recently finished the first draft of a YA novel called Takedown Notice set in the net-mage universe of my stories “Captain Blood’s B00ty” and “One Click Banishment.” What happens when the Magical Association of Atlantis finally gets the upper hand against the net mages in the spell program copyfight?
Sid Vicious, Steve Ignorant, Nikki Sudden… I always wished I had a cool punkrock name for myself.
This year, we were actually going to a Steve Ignorant show and a friend who had misremembered his name asked if we were going to see this guy “Tony Urgent”. Thinking it was actually a cool name, I did an internet search to find out if there had ever been any known punkrock artist by the name of “Tony Urgent”. There hadn’t and I decidied that this could be a nice pseudo for myself. I, however, soon realized that, while “Tony Urgent” sounded pretty cool as a whole, I couldn’t imagine swapping my first name for “Tony” so, finally, I refrained.
“Tony Urgent” anyone? ;)
Tony Urgent is pretty awesome. Someone should definitely take that.
