For myself, getting laid off from my last day job turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. I realized that anyone can do anything when I read about a Minutes Stealer Extraordinaire. A woman with four kids from newborn to toddler completed NaNoWriMo last year. She wrote the entire 50,000-word novel-in-a-month 5 minutes at a time, when she locked herself in the bathroom (the only place she could be kid-free, albeit briefly). In the face of such evidence, any excuse about not having the time is obviously just that - an excuse. I think you’ve covered them all!
