Focusing on all the pieces I wanted to be there by drawing them by hand helped clarify a lot. I also habitually talk through my characters' conversations out loud. This, I find, has become much harder to do now that I don't walk home and have to spend most of my time in the house around another actual person. It makes me too self-conscious. I rarely leave the house with my camera now. If I didn't have the camera, I am not sure if I would leave the house...
