I took this one the same time I took my most pop­u­lar pho­tog­ra­phy of all time. Not quite as amaz­ing, but still pretty pleas­ing to me. Wish some of the high­lights weren’t blown out but what are you doing to do?

I went and bought this pho­tog­ra­phy mar­ket book yes­ter­day. While I was wait­ing in the car for Sarah, I thumbed through it and I was sud­denly over­whelmed with the Fear. I know the Fear well. As a writer who sends his work out to mag­a­zines in the slush, it’s the same Fear. Fear of rejec­tion, of fail­ure, or putting your work out their and being deemed not good enough.

My goal is going to be to work up to 1 pitch per day. I don’t know if I have the pho­tographs nec­es­sary to pitch or not, but I’m going to try. What the hell, right? I’m also going to start enter­ing con­tests and maybe putting together a series for a gallery show.
