A crop of a shot taken with the new lens. Unfortunately, as I discuss more in tomorrow’s image of the day, the new lens isn’t as powerful as I had hoped.
I am going to make another trip to try and capture these redwing blackbirds. I think wildlife photography is as much about being in the right place at the right time, and patience, as it is about the equipment and length of the lens. At least, I hope so, because right now, I am sucking, and this is the best lens I can buy. Hopefully, I can learn to get better wildlife shots.
