About Me

Jeremiah Tolbert is a freelance web designer/developer operating as Clockpunk Studios, a writer of science fiction and fantasy short fiction, and a nature photographer.

Jeremiah Tolbert is also human, male, in his mid-30s, married, with two cats.  He was born in Kansas, and now resides there once again, after detours to Iowa, Kenya, Wyoming, and Colorado.

His favorite color is green.  You would figure this website would include that in the design, but apparently not.

Upcoming Fiction

My story “La Alma Perdida de Marguerite Espinoza” appeared in Lightspeed Magazine.

No new fiction scheduled to appear in the short term.

Currently Writing

I’m working on a short story about the magic of the American highway.  Fiddling with something about drones and the post-eco collapse future. And I’m also researching a YA time travel novel that involves teens press-ganged into a rescue mission to Cretaceous Kansas.
