This is one of my favorites so far. Here’s one from this morning’s dawn work. Man, it was hard to get up that early, but totally worth it, despite nearly freezing my ears off.

Wow. Just wow. It’d be easier to get up in the mornings if I could ge see landscapes like that at dawn. I’m really enjoying this HDR stuff, BTW — has a real tinge of the hyper-real to it, like I imagine a proper metaverse will look like (because you know they’ll legislate that it can’t look *exactly* like the real thing…) :)
Thanks, guys. I think what I like most about it is the hyper-real quality. The real thing can be a bit bland in my camera, and I have a hard time getting something to pop like this, but HDR makes it pretty easy. It kind of feels like a cheat, but I’m enjoying it anyway.
I suspect if they want to legistlate about metaverse look, they’ll say it has to look worse than real, so people don’t waste away inside of it :)
