Kameron Hurley mediates on Sarah Conner. Very interesting thoughts. Go read them, or you’ll be terminated.
About Me
Jeremiah Tolbert is a freelance web designer/developer operating as Clockpunk Studios, a writer of science fiction and fantasy short fiction, and a nature photographer.
Jeremiah Tolbert is also human, male, in his mid-30s, married, with two cats. He was born in Kansas, and now resides there once again, after detours to Iowa, Kenya, Wyoming, and Colorado.
His favorite color is green. You would figure this website would include that in the design, but apparently not.

Upcoming Fiction
My story “La Alma Perdida de Marguerite Espinoza” appeared in Lightspeed Magazine.
No new fiction scheduled to appear in the short term.
Currently Writing
I’m working on a short story about the magic of the American highway. Fiddling with something about drones and the post-eco collapse future. And I’m also researching a YA time travel novel that involves teens press-ganged into a rescue mission to Cretaceous Kansas.

And on this blog!
Hi Jeremiah,
I really appreciate the link, and apologize for not getting here sooner. I had not seen the Brutal women post but the title is brilliant! Thanks for sharing it. It’s always nice to find other great blogs. By the way, you are quite the title wordsmith too — any tips for those um challenged in that area? LOL!
Thanks, Karen. Titles for what, blog posts? I think you’re doing fine in that regard. Lists seem to get linked more than anything else on the web these days.
