Let’s start this week off with some hilarity, shall we? (the title of this one just cracks me up)
So I went to Rocky Mountain National Park on Saturday morning. When I left the house, it wasn’t my intention, but I couldn’t find the place I was trying to visit (Bobcat Ridge) so rather than turn around and get directions, I kept driving until I hit the road to Estes Park. From there, it was just a 45 minute hair-raising drive up the canyon and into the park.
Estes has some amazing views, but I am not much of a landscape photographer. I’m there for the animals. I saw exactly three species while there. Ground squirrels, magpies, and elk. Lots and lots of elk. Dozens of them. So you’re gonna get some elk photos this week. I hope you like them.
